Was anyone else disappointed when they watched The Dark Knight, 'cause like, everyone I know thinks it was the greatest movie ever and wants to suck Heath Ledgers dick. I think The Joker needed to be more insane.. I give him a 2 outta 10 on his performance. Nada is not impressed. Waah.
And what the hell was with Batmans voice?
Also, yesterday I watched a movie called Vodka Lemon(?), Lemon Vodka(?), one or the other; it wasn't too great either....
Someone recommend a good movie please!
:)
EDIT: Yes, see this also. Tis funny.

Good? Film? Recommend? Heath Ledgers dick?
I recommend maybe something like... I don't know. I'll think about it.
Why couldn't you ask about music instead?

No, I haven't seen it yet. But I'm going to. Because I'm a zombie.

The guy's been dead for six months. Your friends are fucking twisted.

Trust (Hal Hartley, 1990).
It's weirdly not out on DVD in the States but fear not! Some humanitarian has ploaded the whole frikken thing in about twenty parts to YouTube. Hooray for YouTube.

Speaking of zombies, I also saw a GREAT movie at the Melbourne Film Festival on Friday called "Otto; or Up With Dead People". The artists formerly known as Lady J & Mr R. Henley accompanied me. J fell asleep shortly after the much touted fucking-an-open-wound scene (she's a hard woman to impress) but I was rapt.
Methinks you'll never find it in a million years, though.
Hamish! Kitty Cat! Yer alive too.
:)
Do recommend some new music for me please, I'll be needing that for my new phone!
Teigs:
Since when did you become a zombie?
I have seen the movie Trust, back when I had cable... and will work on looking for the other movie.
Since I started living in contemporary western civilisation for a living. It's de rigeur, doncha know.
Well, I saw it. I agree with you. Batman's voice was silly and the Joker was not scary enough. He was a scary character as written (he reminded me a lot of ~, who I am not friends with anymore because he has chosen Evil; he would totally do that thing with the boats if he had the resources) - but HL was too mannered and cartoonish.
Same goes for the whole movie really; it had some interesting elements but I wanted it to be darker.
I blame the American ratings system. It was a PG-13 movie that really, really wanted to be an R movie but couldn't due to contractual obligations.
